In 2004 the Sponsored Projects Solution (SPS) Team, an advisory group of department and college administrators, has created a template for use in proposal budget development of sponsored projects.

The purpose of creating this template was to foster standardization, consistency, and best practices in building budgets across campus. Over time the template will be integrated with other electronic processes supported through the Sponsored Projects Portal. The budget template is available at http://www.osp.cornell.edu/ProposalPrep/BudgetTemplate/.

The budget template was updated on 3/11/05 to include announced and projected rates for FY06.
