SPONSORED PROGRAMS PRIMER:
AN INTRODUCTION TO
SPONSORED PROGRAMS ADMINISTRATION
AT
CORNELL UNIVERSITY

NOTE: This workshop is full. You may place your name on the Primer wait list using the registration link below.

The OSP Primer is a five part series designed to offer departmental administrators and other members of the Cornell community an overview of the sponsored projects process within our University. Our first session provides an introduction to the OSP web site and the proposal preparation tools provided in that location. We will also explore several topics closely related to proposal development. Subsequent sessions: discuss the use of the Form 10; provide an introduction to the various offices involved with research administration at the University; explain budget development; focus on financial management; explore post-award management issues; as well as explain the roles of SPS (formerly OSP and SFA), Cost Accounting, the Office of Research Integrity and Assurance, The Office of Risk Management, University Audit, and Technology Transfer (CCTEC) throughout the process.

The series will be offered on the following five Wednesdays, from 9:00 AM to Noon: October 11,18, 25 and November 1 and 15. All sessions will take place in Room 525 ILR Conference Center. Pre-registration is necessary and is limited to 30 people. Registration preference is given to those who make a commitment to attending all five sessions. Register on-line at http://www.osp.cornell.edu/Education/Primer/registration.cfm.
