Please join us for the next in the series of Sponsored Program Services Round Table sessions.

Export Controls: Heightened national security concerns in recent years have increased the federal government's scrutiny of the role universities play in the creation and transfer of technology worldwide and their concomitant compliance with export controls. Cornell's new Office of Research Integrity and Assurance (ORIA) is committed to ensuring the smooth progress of Cornell research projects by helping faculty, Sponsored Programs Services, and other staff to "spot" when their activities raise export controls issues which ORIA can then help them to resolve. The roundtable will include a brief overview of export controls as well as "red flags" that warrant a call to ORIA for further information and resolution.
