Round Table: Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 1:30 in G10 BioTech
This
session will include the following topic: Fly America Act [SLIDES]
Diane
West, Accountant, Sponsored Funds Accounting
Even though
the Fly America Act has been in existence since 1974 it is currently coming
under closer scrutiny in federal audits. Through education and training
we hope to minimize Cornell's risk. The roundtable will include an overview
of the Fly America Act, explore the true meaning of code share, and provide
a few examples of allowable and unallowable flights. We will also go over
the use of the new Exemption Certification Form found on the web based
Travel Reimbursement Request.
Important
: Send us your questions
In an effort to tailor this session and give you a chance to be heard,
we are asking you to submit your questions regarding Fly America Act to
Chris Ashdown, cma20@cornell.edu
prior to the meeting. Please forward your questions by Wednesday, November
23rd!
