In this workshop we will cover cost sharing on sponsored awards and the implications at Cornell University. We will provide an overview of the treatment of cost sharing and a discussion of the recent clarifications provided by the federal government regarding its documentation. The new cost sharing policy will be introduced and federally defined classifications will be presented with the impacts of each. Finally we will go through each of the processes involving cost sharing including proposal development, award review, accounting procedures and F&A rate computations.
